Day Hunts-Wild Hogs in East Texas!
We are now booking day hunts for wild hogs in East Texas.
We have a number of wild feral hog hunting leases
in East Texas that have an abundance of wild feral
hogs.
Hogs roam quite a bit, so we will book your hunts on
the leases where the hogs are at the time of the
hunt.
The leases usually have creeks or other water on
the leases, which helps
hold the hogs in the area.

Wild hog hunting in general is
not an easy chore. Wild hogs are very smart,
very tough and can be very aggressive when
cornered or wounded or protecting their young.
Boar hogs have a very thick armor plating over the
shoulder area that is very hard to penetrate. Large
caliber rifles are recommended, although you can
choose any weapon, including archery, handguns, knives,
or bare hands with dogs!
Before you book a hunt with bare hands, look at this

Wild hogs can be hunted at night and with artificial
lights. However, be sure to check the local game
laws before hunting at night. There are certain
restrictions that may apply to hunting with
artificial light. Be certain you are within
the law. The Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Wardens
like to be made aware of any night hunting beforehand.
When hunting at night, you get to experience the thrill
of hunting at night, where you can not see your quarry,
and he can probably see you first. You may hear him
just a few steps away before you realize how close he
is. This is exciting hunting.
These hunts are not going to be an easy hunt where the
hogs just run out and let you shoot them. Because
of the size of the areas and the thick underbrush,
you will have to hunt hard to get your hogs. However,
there appears to be some very large hogs in the
area, according to the size of the tracks we
found when scouting the leases.
If you are looking for an easy hunt, this is not
it. These hogs are extremely wary and have learned
to avoid the deer stands on the leases because
they have been shot at by the deer hunters.
As a result, in order to hunt the hogs, you must
hunt the creek bottoms and underbrush where the
hogs bed and feed.
If you want a chance to kill a trophy size hog,
then this is the place. We are booking hunts
right now.
Prices are as follows:
Our daily rate is as follows:
$75 to $150 per day, per person, no cabin.(minimum is
2 day hunt)
with a limit of one hog per day, per person.
Any additional hogs killed or wounded are $50
each.
Camping is allowed on the leases. Bring
your camper or tent. We are just minutes
from the Shreveport, La. airport and motels.
NOTE: THIS IS HOG HUNTING ONLY!
NO OTHER ANIMALS OR GAME CAN BE KILLED!
Four wheelers can be used to retrieve
hogs only. No hunting or riding on
leases on four-wheelers, unless physically
required.
PLEASE NOTE: Wild feral hogs are extremely
agressive when cornered. They have been
called the "East Texas Grizzly" and with
good reason. They will attack humans and
dogs when cornered or protecting their
young. Your firearms should be capable
of stopping a charging hog. Therefore
large caliber rifles or shotguns with
slugs or buckshot is recommended. If
you choose to hunt with archery equipment,
it is recommended that you have a back up
firearm for personal protection.
We can also arrange for hunts with dogs on
other leases, where you can catch the hogs
barehanded.
If you wound a hog, it is recommended that
you get someone to help you go in and
get him. Hunting alone is not recommended!
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!
